Ben Gurion Airport (Airport code TLV) is a major International and busiest Airport of Israel located about 28 miles NW of Jerusalem and 12 miles SE of Tel Aviv, This airport was named in 1973 after Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. Israel to resume commercial flights by mid-July at the earliest due to the global corona virus pandemic, the chief of country’s biggest airport said Monday.

Ben Gurion Airport Managing Director Shmuel Zakai said even when the flights eventually restart, the number of departing planes will remain low for the foreseeable future.Ben Gurion International Airport will apply all guidelines given by the international and Israeli authorities and regulators, including maintaining Social Distance, temperature checks, required hygiene, protective equipment and face mask at all service points.

In accordance with these welcoming measures, several airlines announce resumption of Israel flights, among them are Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Wiz Air, Ryan Air, Austrian and Swiss Airlines.
